These Cellpro adapters provide interconnectivity between REVOLECTRIX Cellpro 4s, Cellpro 10s, Cellpro PowerLab 6 or PowerLab 8 cell balancing chargers and many
currently-available lithium polymer battery packs. These adapters work with REVOLECTRIX products in FMA WIRING mode. I this case, the adapters actually convert other brands' balance
connector wiring scheme to the FMA wiring scheme, by virtue of the hardware.
Adapters for Cellpro 4S, Cellpro 4S Gold and Cellpro Multi4 chargers
The Cellpro 4s adapters will interconnect 2s to 4s battery packs. REVOLECTRIX sells two adapters for the 4s chargers. Those two adapters are listed below by part number. You may
also see a list of Lipo Brand name battery packs which may be charged with the respective REVOLECTRIX adapter.
Adapters for Cellpro 10S charger
The Cellpro 10S adapters will interconnect 2s to 6s battery packs. The Cellpro 4s adapters listed on this page may be used with the Cellpro 10s charger by connecting to
the 5s-to-4s adapters that come standard with every Cellpro 10s charger, and which may be purchased separately for use with the newer Cellpro 10XP. The Cellpro 10s adapters
listed on this page will not interconnect with the Cellpro 4s charger.
Currently, REVOLECTRIX manufactures adapters that will interconnect up to 6s battery packs. In order to charge packs larger than 6s using the Cellpro
10S charger, you are required to adapt Cellpro balancing tap connectors to your packs. Click here for
instructions on wiring 2s to 10s packs using Cellpro balancing tap pigtails, PN's CPBP7 and CPBP6P-10.
Alternately, on battery packs larger than 6s that
implement the wiring scheme used on Thunder Power packs, you may use
two adapters (PN:CP10S-TP/PQ6S) from REVOLECTRIX to charge one pack. One adapter
must be plugged into channel one on the Cellpro 10s charger, while
the second adapter must be plugged into channel two. Each of the two
balancing tap connectors on the pack will then plug into the separate
REVOLECTRIX adapters based on the number of series cells in the pack. Example:
You have a 10s Thunder Power pack wired as (2) 5s packs in series.
The balancing tap connector from the first 5s pack will plug into
the 5s port on the adapter and channel one on the CP10s. The balancing
tap from the second 5s series pack will plug into the 5s port on the
second adapter on channel two of the CP10s. In this example, the second
pigtail coming off of each of the CP10S-TP/PQ6S adapters does not
get connected to anything. This second pigtail, labeled "Connect
for 6s Only" is required only when a single, 6s pack is connected
to the Cellpro 10s charger.
Adapters for
Cellpro PowerLab 6 and PowerLab 8
PowerLab 6 and PowerLab 8 Adapters in General: The Cellpro-to-"Other
Brand" adapters for PowerLab 6 and PowerLab 8 will interconnect 2s to 6s battery
packs. The Cellpro 4s adapters and the Cellpro 10S adapters listed
on this page may be used with the Cellpro PowerLab 6 or PowerLab 8 by connecting
through the basic Cellpro adapter that comes standard with every PL8. This adapter
must be purchased seperately for use with PowerLab 6.
The Cellpro PowerLab 6 and PowerLab 8 adapters listed on this page will not interconnect
with the Cellpro 4s or Cellpro 10S chargers. The Cellpro-to-Cellpro
brand adapter for PowerLab 6 and PowerLab 8 will support 2s to 8s for REVOLECTRIX
brand batteries. Therefore, if your battery pack is not REVOLECTRIX
brand, and it is > 6s, you are required to adapt Cellpro balancing
tap connectors to your packs. Click
here for instructions on wiring 2s to 8s packs using Cellpro balancing
tap pigtails, PN's CPBP7 and CPBP6P-10
Standard Adapters: Cellpro PowerLab 6 and PowerLab 8 standard adapters
will permit charging one pack at a time either in combination with
the discharge leads (for maximum output current), or for balance-wire-only
charging support (no discharge leads required) for currents up to
3A. Note, only PL8 supports balance-wire-only operations. The part numbers for the standard adapters are listed below along
with a list of compatible battery packs.
Parallel Adapters: FMA has designed Safe Parallel
Adapters to be used with the Cellpro PowerLab 6 and PowerLab 8. Safe Parallel Adapters
supports one battery pack at a time and may be daisy-chained with
other Safe Parallel Adapters. Designed to support multiple parallel
pack, balance wire-plus-discharge (high current) charging applications. Multiple,
on-board SMT polyfuses (automatic resetting fuses) protect the adapter
and charging circuitry from damage from wrong interconnections, reverse
polarity, etc. The part numbers for the Safe Parallel Adapters are listed
below along with a list of compatible battery packs.

By selecting the appropriate interconnect cable, these REVOLECTRIX "Native XH Adapters" also provide interconnectivity between REVOLECTRIX Cellpro
chargers and battery workstations, as well as any chargers in the industry which support XH balance connectors directly. When connecting up to a REVOLECTRIX brand
charger or battery workstation, the device must support XH wiring mode. Therefore, you will need to choose interconnect cables for Cellpro 10XP, Cellpro PowerLab 6
or Cellpro PowerLab 8 (as these are currently the only REVOLECTRIX products which support XH WIRING MODE), or for another XH-compatible charger brand. Unlike the Cellpro
Adapters above, which convert other brands' wiring scheme to FMA WIRING by virtue of hardware, these adapters (which support JST XH balance connectors only), require the
device to support XH wiring directly, either by virtue of their design, or, in the case of certain REVOLECTRIX products, via the product's firmware. As this paragraph
may not contain the most current list of REVOLECTRIX products that support XH WIRING MODE, please consult the user guide for your REVOLECTRIX product to determine this.
